Terms & Conditions of Service
Please Read These Terms Carefully Before Purchasing Passes or Entering the Premises
These Terms & Conditions govern the reservation, purchase, issuance, and usage of admission passes, river transit tickets, catamaran cruise slots, and in-park activity tokens operated by Yamuna River Tourism & Ferry Services at Sonia Vihar Ghat, Delhi. By accessing our web application, completing a transaction through Razorpay, or scanning a QR pass at our automated turnstiles, you agree to be bound by all clauses detailed below.
Visitor Admission & Ticket Validity Rules
1.1. Mandatory Pass: Every visitor entering the ghat premises or boarding ferry vessels must possess a valid digital or printed QR admission pass issued exclusively through this portal or authorized on-site counter POS terminals.
1.2. Age Categories & Pricing:
- Infants & Toddlers (Under 3 years): Free entry when accompanied by a ticketed adult guardian.
- Child Tickets (3 to 12 years): Subject to designated Child admission tariffs. Proof of age may be requested by gate attendants.
- Adults (12 years & above): General adult tariff applies.
1.3. Single Day Validity: Admission passes and ride tokens are valid strictly for the date of reservation indicated on the ticket. Unused passes cannot be redeemed on subsequent dates unless rescheduled under our severe weather contingency policy.
1.4. Right of Admission: Park administration and safety marshals reserve the right of admission or removal without refund for unruly behavior, intoxication, non-compliance with safety staff, or violation of ecological guidelines.
Park Operating Timings & Boarding Cutoffs
2.1. Standard Gate Hours: Sonia Vihar Ghat admissions and turnstiles operate from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM IST, Monday through Sunday (all 7 days, including public holidays).
2.2. Last Entry Cutoff: The entrance gate ticketing and turnstile validation strictly shut down 45 minutes prior to daily park closure (at 05:15 PM IST). No new entries are permitted after this cutoff.
2.3. Marine Vessel & Ferry Timings: In accordance with Delhi Inland Waterways regulations, all passenger ferry rides, motorboats, and catamaran cruises must dock prior to sunset. Last vessel boarding is scheduled 30 minutes before official sundown (typically 05:30 PM IST).
Turnstile Scanning & Cryptographic Verification Terms
3.1. Single Entry Token: Once a QR code is presented to the optical turnstile scanner or scanned by an authorized gate attendant, the token is instantaneously verified and marked as USED.
3.2. Non-Transferable & Non-Rescannable: A scanned pass cannot be scanned again. Passing a barcode to another individual behind you or attempting to scan a duplicate screenshot will trigger an immediate audible rejection alarm and barrier lockout.
3.3. Multi-Ride Passes: If you purchase an In-Park Activity or multi-ride bundle, the QR pass retains an internal debit balance for the specific attractions specified. The turnstile deducted value is final upon gate barrier rotation.
3.4. Legibility: Visitors presenting mobile screens must ensure adequate screen brightness and clean glass. Thermal paper tickets must remain dry and uncreased. If a QR code is illegible, visitors must report to the Resolution Counter with proof of identity and payment.
Marine Safety & Ecological Code of Conduct
4.1. Mandatory Life Jackets: All visitors boarding watercraft (catamarans, passenger speedboats, paddleboats) MUST securely wear life vests provided by our certified marine safety crew for the entire duration of the trip.
